Who We Are

A writer and director with over 20 years of experience in theatre, video, and film, Parthiban Shanmugam has won numerous awards in prestigious competitions around the world.  Born in India and trained in the United States as an attorney, strategic and defense analyst, and human rights advocate, he now focuses his talents primarily on the evolving, multi-faceted culture of the US.  Parthi’s art is nourished by a variety of rich traditions including Western artistic disciplines, Eastern philosophy and literature, Hollywood, Bollywood, and new genres emerging in international independent film.

Siva Kumar Selvaraj

Originally trained in computer programming and business management, Kumar Selvaraj’s passion for movie-making led him to the Hollywood Film Institute and, following graduation, to the position of professional assistant to celebrated filmmakers.

Siva brings a wealth of experience in production coordination to Vennila Films.
